Top Key West Attractions

If the Atlantic Coast is your next getaway there is no getting away from Key West. Vacationing here can be an

experience of a lifetime. They say life is like a book, and those who do not travel read only one page. When it

comes to Miami and Key West, they are not pages but whole chapters that offer much to see and thousands of

things to do.

From snorkeling to ghost tours, scuba diving, and an incredible ride on the Conch Tour Train, Key West is

never an island to disappoint even the most discerning traveler. What’s marvelous is that there is several Key

West tour packages that leave you spoiled for choice. Let’s pick out a few of the best Key West attractions most

frequented by visitors.

Mel Fisher Museum

Mel Fisher Museum is a maritime museum on Greene Street that unfolds the story of Mel Fisher, an American

treasure hunter who discovered the wreck of the Spanish galleon Nuestra Señora de Atoch. The ship was a

victim of a 1622 hurricane and sank 40 miles off Key West. Some of the interesting artifacts at the museum

includes gold and silver ornaments and a 77.76 carat emerald. The museum also features exhibits on

underwater archaeology and interesting films on the subject.

Ernest Hemingway Museum

Hemingway Museum on Whitehead Street was the abode of the famous writer who bought the splendid Spanish

Colonial house built in the early 1850s in 1931. This is where Hemingway wrote several of his famous novels

while a walk around the lush tropical garden may get you to see some of the original brood of house cats. There

are several tours scheduled throughout the day with educated tour guides at hand to offer insightful narratives.

Snorkeling

Key West has some of the clearest waters with the temperature just right all year round, which allows for

unlimited fun for water sports enthusiasts. While scuba diving in Key West can be an exhilarating experience

for the not so adventurous there is always the chance to go snorkeling. In fact, every year, we see countless

people who claim to be afraid of the water overcome their phobias by trying out a bit of snorkeling.

Sunset Sail Cruise in Key West

If you are on vacation with your significant other, you will want to sign up for sunset cruise, which could be the

highlight of your honeymoon as well. The tranquil waters and the sun setting over it, with no one to bother you

- just you, your soul mate, and a delicious gourmét dinner, what more can one ask for.

Parasailing

There are many fantastic ways to soak in all of Key West. You may choose to do so from a helicopter, a boat, a

bicycle, a scooter or even by foot, but nothing beats parasailing. Glide through the air at a comfortable pace and

enjoy a breathtaking view of Key West like no other. Maybe take a selfie while you’re up there? Or not! Those

are pretty egotistical. Your family or friend can take a picture of you.

This is only the tip of the iceberg. Key West has an incredible lot more to offer, and we’d be happy to help

design the perfect tour whether you are on your honeymoon or want to treat your family to the best vacation

ever. Well, until the next time you come here.
