By Flight
Key West International Airport
You can take direct fights or connected flights to reach Key West International Airport. The airport houses a

island city is fun and simple! Key West transit buses and taxis serve the airport and you’ll find them located
conveniently at the terminus.
By Road
The Overseas Highway runs from north of Key Largo to Key West and is popularly referred to as an All-
American Road. The Keys Highway is the sole All-American Road in Florida. It is the biggest acknowledgment
under the National Scenic Byways program founded by the US Congress in 1991. Apart from the Keys
highway, only 30 other highways in the country have been awarded this prestigious title.
Once you arrive in the Keys, you will find small green mile-marker signs on the side of the highway to denote
the Overseas Highway. These markers appear immediately south of Florida City with number 127 and run all
the way down to 0 by the time you are in Key West.

By Sea
Boat rides and ferry rides are equally great choices if you want to travel to Key West.
You can board high-speed passenger ferries and head to this island city. The ferries usually depart from Marco
Island and Ft. Myers Beach and dock at the Key West Bight Ferry Terminal in the central location of the
Historic Seaport District. The Seaport District further carves a niche for its fine restaurants, bars and shops. You
can also walk to Duval Street and explore its many attractions.
